”One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller
There are favourite places – for all kinds of reasons – not just for photography.
I’m going back to one in a week and here I am pulling out seconds / RAW images from previous trips. It gets me primed a bit, but also starts or confirms some strategies and themes I want to pursue there. Its always rewarding to re-visit old folders … evaluations and judgements change and we tend to look at images different after some time is gone by.
So – here is a little group from Lake Superior’s wild shore, different aspects and views
(some multi-exposures and long exposures)
… can’t wait to be there again soon!
If they ask: “What is you favourite picture?” … here is the perfect time to answer:
“The one I’m going to take(make) tomorrow!”
